Each iLamp can generate its power from various technologies, including enhanced solar and generators which allow the iLamp to run multi-tech components. Some examples of these components are security cameras, wireless communications, charging capabilities, and weather tracking.
The partnership with S2A Modular gives consumers direct access to iLamps for use in residential communities, commercial businesses, planned developments, and municipalities. Additionally, excess net-positive electricity generated by iLamps is sold back to the grid, resulting in a revenue stream for street-light owners.
